How the Day will run

  • You will be divided into a group of  riders who are at the same level as you

  • A time will be allocated once all entries are in and these will be posted up on the website

  • On the day, you will arrive and collect your number from the secretary,  you will need to make sure you have a number bib to slot the number into these cannot be provided by us.

  • You will make your way with your group to the first judge who will watch you warm up, offer a mini masterclass and then ask you to complete a few movements/jumps for which you will be awarded stars for your performance and the judge will provide feedback on how it went. You will then move to your second judge and finally the third.

  • Each judge will take about 30 mins and you will move around until you have been seen riding, helped and graded by each.

  • If you elect to do the free Sports psychology masterclass with Gary you will go to him during this time too and this will be for supporting you only and will not be marked towards your score.

 

At the end of the day the stars will be added up and the winners will be given their prizes.

You will receive a digital copy of the feedback given by each judge and the stars you were awarded. Stars will be allocated at the judge's discretion and strict levels will be adhered to to ensure the judging is fair to all.

At the end of the competition all the results including judges feedback and stars awarded will be published on the website with the results.

Prizes will be:

​

Rockstar Academy Champion (1st): Top stars scored over the whole competition

Rockstar Academy Reserve Champion (2nd): 2nd most stars scored over the whole competition

Rockstar Academy places (3rd-8th) 3rd to 8th most stars scored over the whole compeititon

Discipline Champions:

Top stars scored in each discipline (The overall Champion and Reserve Champion are not eligible for these prizes as they will receive their own trophies prizes etc)

Showjumping Champion

Cross Country Champion

IMPORTANT NOTICE

In the case of where a rider winning more than one discipline title

eg:  Cross country and Showjumping, one of these titles will be passed on to the rider gaining the second most stars in that catagory.

The rider initially winning both titles will be allowed to choose the discipline they will be made champion of eg: rider chooses to be Cross Country champion, the title of Showjumping Champion will pass to the rider with the runner up total of stars in the Showjumping phase.
