The Rockstar Academy is a competition which will be judged over 3 different disciplines: Dressage, Showjumping and Cross Country.
You will be grouped with other riders who are at your level of experience / ability
The judges for each discipline will watch you warm up and then give you a mini masterclass
They will then ask you to perform a series of dressage movements/xc jumps/sj jumps depending on which judge you are with at the time and award you stars for your performance.
You will spend approximately 30 mins with each judge.
The Rockstar Champion 2017 and the Reserve Champion Awards:
The total stars for each rider in each of the 3 disciplines awarded by each of the 3 judges will be added up and the rider scoring the most stars overall will be crowned Rockstar Champion. The overall second total amount of stars awarded will be the Rockstar Reserve Champion.
Discipline Winners:
The winner of the most stars (not the overall champion or reserve champion) in each discipline will be also be announced.
In the case of one rider winning two discipline champion awards, one of them will fall to the rider with the runner up amount of stars in this discipline, that rider will be able to choose which discipline champion award they would like to receive.
Sports Psychology with Gary Diplock MPNLP, NRH, Dip.Sports.Psychol
Gary will be running Sports Psychology masterclasses throughout the day.
These will not be judged and are being offered as an additional support to riders who feel they would benefit from having some help in this area.
This is an elective class and anyone interested in taking part must state so on the entry form or they will not be included in this educational package.
